Public Administration (MPA)

Our online MPA allows you to earn a Master of Public Administration from anywhere in the world. This professional degree provides skills students use to advance their careers and lead and manage in the public (government) and nonprofit sectors. Some students complete the degree at our Arlington, Blacksburg, or Richmond locations, but as of Fall 2022 students have the option to complete the degree entirely online if desired.

Program requirements:

The online MPA is identical in course content, program requirements, and workload to the in-person degree program (described here). The same faculty teach in person and online, and you will have opportunities to interact with students on our in-person campuses, virtually. The MPA is available for full and part-time students.
